NULU Toasted Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Prohibition Craft Spirits is 5-year old MGP distillate. The mash bill is 5% Corn, 21% Rye, and 4% Malted barley. After aging, this non-chill filtered bourbon is bottled at 114 proof. SIngle Barrel pick was made by our local distributors

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Initial wafts of banana, caramel candy, and caramelized sugar. Coming behind it I get that MGP trio of broiled brown sugar richness, butterscotch, and roasted nuts.
Palate: Ethanol spice touches the tongue first, this drinks its proof. Brown sugar sweetness, walnuts, a little water opens up some seasoned lumber and brings some overripe bananas to the front.
Finish: Black pepper fire, roasted nut bitterness, black coffee. A little water starts to open up the oily, raw sugar notes and cacao bitterness.
