TASTING NOTES
Nose: Ripping out of the glass is rye, corn, orange, champhor, ginger, oak, a hint of flowers, and cinnamon. A lively attack on the nose is not pleasant but is appealing.
Taste: Rye spiciness dominates as expected, gingery/cinnamony but it is not raw nor offensive. The is a mite of subtlety, yes, even softness, in the heat of the attack (probably due to the sweetness that comes from the rye itself)
Finish: Fairly long and tingly with leftover cinnamon red hots mixed in with the rye flavors.
