The Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company, dedicated to releasing limited edition spirits from rare casks discovered in some of the country’s finest whiskey cellars, has come out with its Rhetoric 24 Year Old Bourbon. It is bottled at 90.8 proof, has a mash bill that’s 86% corn, 8% barley and 6% rye.

TASTING NOTES

Aroma of rich vanilla oak, brown sugar and chocolate. Taste begins with orchard fruit accented with a hint of allspice, and gives way to a warming finish with of nutmeg and caramel notes.

Now that the world knows this was not some kind of magical find of lost barrels, and the cost was driven up this bourbon is outstanding , smooth and excellent flavor. My friends and I have agree this is much better than pappy lot B an way better than the expensive 10yr old pappy( no comparison exactly ) Seems the price of Barter House continues to climb but for now this is a excellent choice and buyer will not be disappointed.
